This portrait, titled "Daydreamer," is one of my first life studies that I felt truly proud of after much trial and error. I dedicated 5 months to intensive figure drawing before I allowed myself to dive into oil painting from life. The subject's serene expression and the interplay of light and shadow showcase my early exploration into the complexities of capturing human essence on canvas.
